Nicole Mayo-Gowell
LCSW - Licensed Clinical Social Worker | Owner
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over 15 years of experience providing mental health services to children, adolescents, and adults. I have worked with individuals experiencing a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, behavioral challenges, and life transitions.
My approach integrates evidence-based psychotherapy, behavioral interventions, mindfulness, and psychoeducation to help clients build resilience, develop effective coping skills, and achieve their personal goals. I am committed to creating a safe, supportive, and compassionate environment where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered throughout their therapeutic journey.
Throughout my career, I have worked in a variety of settings, including community mental health, early intervention, residential treatment, and school-based counseling. These experiences have provided me with a broad understanding of the unique needs of individuals and families across the lifespan.
I believe therapy is most effective when it is collaborative and built on a strong therapeutic relationship. My style is warm, genuine, and nonjudgmental. I strive to meet each client where they are, helping them feel comfortable, understood, and supported as we work together toward meaningful and lasting change.
